The journey of creating smiles (how it all began!):
Being doctor is not just profession, it is way of life.
This is very true to me
My journey into this began in 1977 when I joined BDS at the Govt dental college in Bangalore, from then it is all dentistry. I finished my BDS in 1981 and started my private practice in 1983. It was a small clinic with a single dental chair in a rented place. It was in 1985 that my cherished dream to get post-graduation seat, materialized, that too in my own Govt dental college. This was the greatest turning point in my career where I matured both professionally and personally. I finished my MDS in conservative dentistry and endodontics in 1987 by specializing in root canal and aesthetic dentistry.
Immediately after, I was teaching at VS Dental College. My passion to teach got a very good start and my all dreams fulfilled. When I was occupied in teaching and private practice an exciting offer came knocking at my door where I was to teach abroad, this was very difficult decision to make in my prime time but destiny took me abroad for teaching assignment and I spent 7 years abroad which gave me immense experience in my life. I returned to India in 1998 and the biggest asset that I had were my old patients, still waiting for my return which gave me all the strength to restart my clinic at the same place.
By the grace of god, I moved into present much bigger place in 2003. When I returned to India immediately I got a job in MS Ramaiah dental college as professor and became Head of Department. Today I am Dean of Faculty of Dental Sciences in same Ramaiah University. So, when I look back I feel I have achieved something by the blessings of God And support of my Family.
Today in my clinic I have consultants coming for a range of dental treatments. Starting mainly with root canal, surgical extractions, Braces, Implants, Pedodontics and many more.
